By National Weather Service
PADUCAH, KY - Friday and Saturday could bring some minor flooding concerns to the area, with up to three inches of rain in the weekend forecast.

The National Weather Service office in Paducah has issued a hazardous weather outlook that starts with a marginal risk of isolated severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening. Locally damaging wind and marginally severe hail up to an inch in diameter will be possible, along with locally heavy rain.

Steady rain and thunderstorms will continue through Saturday. Locally heavy rainfall from 1.5 to 3 inches is forecast before it tapers off Saturday night.

This may result in minor, short-duration flooding mainly in low, poor drainage areas. The area most affected looks to include southeast Missouri, western Kentucky and the southern tip of Illinois.
