Traffic Stop Nets Arrest, Recovers Stolen Truck

GRAND RIVERS - A routine traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a Princeton man, and the recovery of a stolen pick-up truck.

Kentucky State Police, Post 1 reported that a traffic stop was conducted near Grand Rivers shortly after 7:00 pm on Saturday. The driver, 45-year-old Jackie L. Lady of Princeton, was arrested for 2nd offense, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Troopers found that the 1996 Ford Ranger pick-up truck had been reported stolen out of Hopkinsville. Lady was also charged with theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.00, and receiving stolen property under $10,000.00.

He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
