Traffic Violation Leads to Arrest for Drug Charges

MURRAY - A Tennessee man was arrested early Friday morning after a traffic stop.

Calloway County Sheriff's Deputies pulled over a vehicle on South 12th Street for a violation about 2 am. During their interaction with the driver, 57-year-old Ellie K. Jackson of Puryear, deputies say they found various drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle. 

Jackson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and for traffic offenses. Jackson was taken to Calloway County Jail.
