Trial Date Set for Woman Charged in Fatal Crash
By West Kentucky Star Staff
MAYFIELD - A Hickman County woman charged with murder and other charges stemming from a fatal 2017 crash will go to trial early next year.

A jury trial for Christina Weeks is set for March 2, 2021.

Weeks, of Clinton, was involved in a two-vehicle collision on Oct. 18, 2017 on KY 58 West in Graves County. The driver of the other vehicle, Marilyn Armbruster of Clinton, was killed in the crash.

A witness told Graves County sheriff's deputies that just before impact Weeks' vehicle crossed the center line. Deputies say Weeks was also seen on her cell phone just before impact.

Weeks is facing murder, wanton endangerment, possession of controlled substance and DUI charges.

Back in February, Weeks violated the condition of her bond by failing a drug test, and the Commonwealth's motion to revoke Weeks' bond was granted.
