Murray Police told WKDZ radio that 22-year-old Lindsay Darnall, a 2012 MSU graduate and 2007 Trigg County High School graduate, was pronounced dead at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Police say Darnall was shot around 5:30 am behind 1300 Payne Street, near the campus of Murray State University. The circumstances surrounding her death are still being investigated, but police said that they are not looking for a shooter.

Reports indicate her body has been taken to Louisville for an autopsy.

According to her parents, Steve and Debbie Darnall of Cadiz, Lindsay lived in Trigg County until the Eggners Ferry Bridge collapsed in January, at which time she moved to Murray to finish her degree.
