The accident happened just after 3:00 am, about 1/2-mile south of the intersection with Kentucky Highway 58 near Clinton.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet workers manned road blocks and helped detour traffic while utility workers untangled and reattached power lines.
The highway re-opened about 8:30 am.
