Truck Stolen from Hickman Found Submerged in Water
By WestKyStar Staff
HICKMAN, KY - The Fulton County Sheriff's Department is looking into the case of a truck reported stolen over the weekend from a Hickman residence that was later found submerged in water.

Detectives say the report came in at 4: 40 pm Friday from Cody and Autumn Atwill of Hickman, who said they believe their truck was stolen between 10 pm May 9 and 8 am May 10.

Autumn Atwill told officers she had reason to believe their truck was submerged in water on state route 1129. That is where detectives found the truck, about three-hundred yards from where water began covering the road. No one was found inside the truck, which was submerged to the roof of the cab.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fulton County Sheriff's Department.
