Two Arrested After Deputy Spots Weaving Vehicle

BENTON, KY - Two people were arrested Tuesday on drug charges after a sheriff's deputy saw their vehicle weaving on U.S. Highway 641.
Marshall County Sheriff's Department pulled over the vehicle, and the driver appeared to be under the influence. He gave consent to search his vehicle, and canine officer Lacy indicated two areas might have drugs. A used needle was found behind the passenger seat, along with a tin containing white residue that tested positive for methamphetamine. Deputies arrested 28-year-old Joshua R. Hannan of Paducah for DUI, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructed vision or windshield.
The passenger in the vehicle, 21-year-old McKenzie B. Greene of Eddyville, admitted she was hiding a syringe. She was arrested for tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
