Two people have been arrested on drug charges in Carlisle County after complaints of a suspicious vehicle.
According to the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office, there have been multiple complaints over a period of several months in regards to a suspicious vehicle spending a lot of time at the Kirbyton Cemetery.
On September 7, after another complaint, officers located the vehicle and spoke with 29-year-old Levon Whitt of Paducah, and 36-year-old Sarah Toon of Arlington.
Police K9 Izzy was brought to the scene and indicated possible drug activity in the vehicle. After searching the vehicle, officers say they located two baggies of methamphetamine, and a loaded hypodermic needle.
Both were arrested and lodged in the Ballard County Jail for possession of a controlled substance first degree second offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
