Two Charged in Farmington Home Invasion

Two Calloway County men are in custody after an apparent burglary and assault in Farmington.

State police responded to a call Thursday on KY 1124 from a woman who said she was assaulted in her home.

Upon arrival, troopers found the woman and another victim with what appeared to be knife wounds to the neck and hand.  Both victims said two men had unlawfully entered the home and began assaulting them.

After investigation, troopers arrested Jody Smith and Christopher Smith, both of Calloway County.
 
Jody Smith was charged with assault 2^nd degree, burglary 1^st degree, intimidating a witness in the legal process, and assault 4^th degree.

Christopher Smith was charged with assault 2^nd degree (complicity), burglary 1^st degree, intimidating a witness in the legal process, and assault 4^th degree. 

Both men were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
