Two Charged with Calloway County Burglary

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY - Two local residents are in custody after allegedly burglarizing a home and pulling a gun on a sheriff's deputy.
William Elliott and Cheyanne Coleman were arrested Sunday after police responded to an alarm at a home on Locust Grove Road.
When police arrived on the scene, Elliott and Coleman attempted to flee. Coleman pulled a handgun on a deputy before running into the woods. A K-9 unit later located and captured Coleman.
Elliott attempted to flee by car and became stuck, then fled on foot before being captured.
Elliott and Coleman are charged with Burglary 1st Degree, with other charges pending.
Kentucky State Police and several local departments assisted the Calloway County Sheriff's Office in the ongoing investigation.
