Daviess County Coroner Jeff Jones told The Messenger-Inquirer that the blaze was reported early Friday morning and responding firefighters found two bodies. He did not release their identities.
Owensboro Fire Battalion Chief Steve Leonard says a police officer patrolling in the area spotted the blaze about 2:00 am. Firefighters were still at the scene late Friday morning. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
