A three-vehicle crash Friday in Marshall County left two people injured. According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, the collision took place at the intersection of Moors Camp Highway and Highway 68 East near Briensburg.

Deputies said a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Christin Moon of Cunningham failed to yield the right of way as she attempted to turn westbound onto Hwy. 68. A westbound vehicle driven by 42-year-old Shannon Ward of Benton struck Moon's vehicle in the side, then left the roadway and came to rest in a yard.

Moon's vehicle then struck a third vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Anthony Trimmel of Gilbertsville, who was stopped on Hwy. 68 facing east, waiting to turn onto Moors Camp Highway.

Ward's passenger, 39-year-old Beverly Ward of Benton, complained of neck pain and was taken to Marshall County Hospital for treatment. Deputies said Moon was given a preliminary breath test at the scene and it showed a presence of alcohol. Moon was transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
