Two Marshall Men Charged with Drug Trafficking

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY - Two Marshall County men were arrested Thursday on drug trafficking charges.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, detectives obtained a search warrant for a home in the 4000 block of Lakeview Church Road. During a search of the home, detectives seized over 70 bags of synthetic marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, more than $9000 in cash and some prescription pills.

Detectives arrested Billy Doane for trafficking in synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas Hines was arrested and charged with conspiracy to trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of synthetic drugs.

Doane and Hines were taken to the Marshall County Jail. Police said the drugs found at the home have a street value of more than $3,500. They say additional charges and arrests are possible.
