Two-vehicle Crash in Marshall Co. Injures Four

BENTON, KY - A two-vehicle collision Monday night in Marshall County sent four people to the hospital. According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just after 5 pm on Moors Camp Highway.
According to deputies, a truck driven by 41-year-old Kerry Reed, of Benton, was traveling eastbound on Moors Camp Highway when he lost control of his truck as he was going around a sharp left curve due to the rainy, wet road conditions. The front of Reed’s truck veered into the oncoming lane and struck a car driven by 26-year-old Katie Singery, of Benton in a near head-on collision.
Singery and her two passengers, 29-year-old James McClain, of Benton, and a young child, were transported by Marshall County EMS to the Marshall County Hospital for various injuries. Reed was transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
The roadway was shut down for approximately 45 minutes.
