Vehicle Strikes Bicyclists in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY - Two people were injured Monday when a
vehicle struck two bicyclists in Calloway County.
According to the Calloway County
Sheriff's Office, the collision happened around 4:00 pm on Airport
Road near Tucker Road. Deputies said 19-year-old Tabytha Reed, of
Benton, was travelling north on Airport Road when she approached two
bicyclists, also travelling north.
According to police, Reed's vehicle
struck a bicycle being ridden by 51-year-old Molly Collins, of
Murray. Collin's bicycle was then pushed into a second bicycle being
ridden by her husband, 58-year-old Gary Collins, also of Murray.
Molly Collins was transported by
ambulance to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of her
injuries. Gary Collins was transported to the hospital by private
vehicle. Reed was not injured in the collision.
