The Mayfield Police Department says officers responded around 1:00 am on Monday to a report of a vehicle running into a home in the 500 block of North 13th Street. Police say the vehicle struck the foundation of the home, directly under the bedroom where the owner was sleeping.
The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Shaniqua Noonan, of Mayfield, was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. Noonan is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with aggravating circumstances, criminal mischief and four counts of wanton endangerment.
No one was injured in the collision, but the home suffered extensive damage.
