Voters Approve Package Alcohol Sales in Murray

Voters in Murray have opted to go from moist to fully wet.

Murray, which already allowed liquor by the drink, chose to allow packaged liquor sales. The results of the vote - 2,109 votes to 1,822.

In 60 days after the vote tally is confirmed, the city will be wet.

Once the new ordinance takes effect, as many as seven retail liquor package licenses and seven retail liquor drink licenses can be issued.
