The Graves County Sheriff's Office says
29-year-old Jacob Krohn was arrested Thursday morning, west of Wingo
near the Purchase Parkway.
Deputies received information on
Wednesday that Krohn was staying at an apartment building on Lebanon
Street in Wingo. Deputies say Krohn is banned from the state of
Kentucky after a plea agreement he made with the Graves County
Circuit Court in a 2017 theft-related case.
According to deputies, Krohn had also threatened to harm others if they reported him to law enforcement.
Deputies responded to the apartment
building in Wingo on Wednesday, but Krohn was able to escape out a back window of
the home and fled on foot.
Kentucky State Police responded to help and troopers on Sawmill Road spotted Krohn running in a field. They pursued him on foot and he was taken into custody about 10:00 am Thursday.
Graves County Deputies say methamphetamine and drug
paraphernalia were found in the home in which Krohn was staying. They charged him with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, terroristic threatening 1st degree, criminal trespassing 1st degree, violation of conditions of release, and criminal mischief.
State Police charged Krohn with fleeing and evading police 1st degree on foot, wanton endangerment 1st degree, wanton wndangerment 1st degree of a police officer, contempt of court, and public intoxication. Krohn was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
