Arrests warrants on the former Kuttawa City Clerk and her husband have been served after police extradited them back to Kentucky on Sunday.

Kentucky State Police began an investigation into irregularities at the Kuttawa City Clerk's Office in July.

Through the investigation, Troopers obtained an arrest warrant on 40-year-old Katie L. Harrison for 24 counts of 2nd degree forgery. State police also obtained an arrest warrant on her husband, 43-year-old Clayton W. Harrison, for 10 counts of 2nd degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

The Harrisons were arrested late last month in Sevier County, TN. Both were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on Sunday.

The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police.
