The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Tracy Watwood will be joining the staff Nov. 1. Watwood is the retired Chief of Police at the Benton Police Department and has most recently been an investigator for the Marshall County Attorney’s Office and the Marshall County Coroner.

He will be leaving those duties and joining the sheriff’s office as the Court Security Supervisor. Sergeant Rick Inman, who is retiring today, has filled that role for many years.

Inman has served with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office in various areas for 25 years. He has served for 17 years in the court system and most of those years he has supervised the Court Security Division of the sheriff's office. He has been responsible for securing the Judicial Building since 2005.
