Wellness Consortium Town Hall Event on MSU Campus

MURRAY, KY - The Wellness Consortium, along with Lighten Up Calloway and the Calloway County – Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (CC-ASAP) will hold a Town Hall event on Tuesday, June 19th, at 6 pm, at Wrather West Kentucky Museum, on the campus of Murray State University. 

The Town Hall event will include an open discussion and question and answer forum with city official candidates regarding health in all policy-proposed initiatives for community health, and the improvement of well-being in Calloway County. 

“The missions of Lighten Up Calloway and the Calloway County – Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (CC-ASAP) are to improve the health and well-being of our community through programming and initiatives to address health issues like obesity and substance abuse. We invite community members to submit questions to the candidates for city council, mayor, magistrates, and county judge executive,” said Dr. Miranda Terry, member of the Wellness Consortium, Lighten Up Calloway and CC-ASAP committees. 

All community members are invited and encouraged to attend.
