Width Restriction on US 68/KY 80 Bridge Thursday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to place a daytime lane and load width restriction on the US 68/KY 80 Lake Barkley Bridge in Trigg County on Thursday.

KYTC Spokesman Keith Todd said the lane and load width restriction is to complete adetailed inspection of the bridge, also known as the Henry Lawrence Memorial Bridge. Due to the use of a Snooper Truck as part of the inspection, the bridge will be restricted to vehicles no more than 8 ft. wide. The restrictions will be in place from around 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Todd said drivers should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
