Kevin Wiggins, a resident of the Sedalia community, has filed papers to run for Graves County Board of Education, District 2.

Wiggins and his wife Samantha (Jones) have one son, Maddox, a 3rd grader at Sedalia Elementary. Kevin is the son of Michael and the late Becky (Mathis) Wiggins. Kevin has one sister, Mandy Hale (John) and two brothers; Dylan (Jordan Goatley) and Brett (Mallory McSweeny).

A lifelong resident of Graves County, Wiggins is a 1993 graduate of Graves County High School and 1998 graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

“I believe in the Graves County School system," Wiggins said. "I would like to be part of the group that insures every student leaves Graves County Schools with the skills to face the challenges of life. I’m fiscally and socially conservative, I believe every tax dollar should be accounted for and spent wisely. I would appreciate your vote of confidence in November.”

Wiggins is Assistant Outside Plant and Engineering Manager at WK&T. Along with being an involved father and husband, he is actively involved as a member of the Cuba Church of Christ.  Wiggins volunteers with several youth sports programs and is a board member for the Mayfield Mission (Mayfield and Graves County’s men’s homeless shelter).
