MARION, KY - Kentucky State Police have brought a murder suspect back to Crittenden County, following her arrest in Arkansas.

Troopers transported 50-year-old Cindy L. Hutchinson from Fort Smith, AR to Marion on Friday. She is lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center on charges of murder, robbery 1st degree, burglary 1st degree, tampering with physical evidence, and receiving stolen property under $10,000. These charges are related to the investigation into the death of 89-year-old Leonard E. Roberts on July 16.

Authorities in Arkansas arrested Hutchinson on July 17. She had been sought on a warrant for receiving stolen property after learning that she had been seen in Roberts' car before police arrived at his home and found him dead.

Roberts had been assaulted and apparently stabbed when his body was found in his home at 229 East Depot Street on the night of July 16. Marion Police officers called State Police after they checked on him, and found his body.
