Woman Dies in Crash on Slick Road in Murray

MURRAY, KY - A Louisville woman was killed Saturday morning in a head-on collision in Murray.
Kentucky State Police responded at 7:30 am to Kentucky Highway 94 East, and determined that 20-year-old Shelby Theiss was westbound when her car hit a slick spot on a bridge. Her car entered the opposite lane of traffic and hit a Freightliner truck head-on. Murray-Calloway EMS took her to the hospital, where she died shortly after arrival.
The driver of the truck, 63-year-old William J. Blackford of Murray, was not hurt. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
