Woman Faces DUI, Gun, Endangerment Charges

GRAVES COUNTY - A Tennessee woman was arrested on multiple charges Monday afternoon in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a complaint on KY 303. Deputies say a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Jennifer Blackard, had tried to run another vehicle off the road. Deputies found Blackard's vehicle heading toward Mayfield and conducted a traffic stop.

According to police, Blackard was found to be under the influence of drugs, and a handgun was reportedly found inside her vehicle. Blackard also had an active warrant out of Fulton County.

Blackard was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. She's charged with wanton endangerment, DUI, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt.
