Two women face DUI and drug charges after separate incidents in Marshall County.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was dispatched on Wednesday to a parking lot where a woman was slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle with the engine running. When the deputy opened the driver's door, the driver, Samantha Sharp, woke up.

According to the deputy, the odor of an alcoholic beverage and marijuana could be smelled inside the car.

Sharp was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of an open alcohol container inside a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.

Early Thursday morning, a deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Olive Creek Road and U.S. Hwy 68 East. The caller advised that the driver of a vehicle had their head down and was not moving.

Deputies arrived and turned the vehicle's engine off, but the driver did not wake up. Once deputies were able to wake the driver, she was identified as Daisy Josleyn.

Josleyn was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of controlled substance and failure to produce an insurance card. She was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
