Would-be KY Voters Have Only Hours to Register
By AP
FRANKFORT, KY - The registration deadline for potential new voters who want a say in the Nov. 6 election is just hours away.

Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky's chief election official, is reminding people who aren't yet registered that they need to hurry. County clerks' offices will accept voter registration cards until they close Tuesday. Mail-in voter registration applications have to be postmarked by Tuesday to be timely.

Voters who have recently moved also have to update their registration information Tuesday. Those who move from one county to another and don't update their voter registration aren't permitted to vote.
