MURRAY, KY - There is still time to help your nonprofit group earn cash, by signing up for the 3rd annual Rotary Scooper Bowl, during the Murray Ice Cream Festival on Friday, September 7.

Churches, charity organizations and other community groups are urged to crank out their best homemade ice cream recipe and bring it to the Murray court square to be sampled and voted on by hundreds of visitors. Teams will share in an estimated five thousand dollars in cash; the more participation, the more cash to split.

Ice cream fans will donate five dollars to receive a spoon, to be able to sample and vote. Kids under 10 can sample for just a dollar. 

The Scooper Bowl is from 6 - 9 pm Friday, September 7. The Murray Ice Cream Festival will continue on Saturday, September 8.
