This kind of crap just makes me sick. The story doesn't say, but this parent probably has a job and tries to take care of this medically challanged child. The income level has probably been raised so he doesn't qualify anymore for home care. Of course, with the outrageous medical costs plaguing this country, he probably wouldn't be able to afford to continue the care even if he worked 24 hours a day. Even if there was private health care insurance involved, it probably wouldn't matter because insurance companies care only about lining their own pockets, not the wellbeing of the patients they cover. So, let's take this 5 year old away from her family and plop her in an institution somewhere. Sickening. I swear I can't begin to figure out what is wrong with these elected officials. And another sickening thing is that Americans put them in office!

Cutting care for children such as the one mentioned in this story is terrible. Who needs elected people who are not for the proper care of children or one who does not allow children in need to be cared for in the home? Get rid of stupid spending and outrageous pay for elected officials and put that money toward the care of children.
