Quinn Remembers Tornado Victims at Signing
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Gov. Pat Quinn has remembered six Illinoisans who died in weekend tornadoes.
Quinn paused Wednesday afternoon at a ceremony at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he planned to sign gay marriage into law. He asked for a moment of silence for the storm victims.
The Sunday storms raked Illinois, destroying hundreds of homes and businesses.
After the moment of silence Quinn said, "God bless their immortal souls.''
