Governor-elect Bruce Rauner has detailed what some members of his transition team will be doing before the Winnetka Republican takes office in January.

In a news release, Rauner spells out 10 areas where the advisers will focus. That includes education, healthcare, agriculture, economic development, energy and veterans.

The most well-known people on the list include Caterpillar Inc. CEO Doug Oberhelman. He'll work on economic development issues. Also the executive director of the John Howard Association of Illinois, John Maki, will focus on public safety.

Earlier this month, Rauner announced several senior advisers including former White House chief of staff Bill Daley and former Southern Illinois University President Glenn Poshard.  A Rauner spokesman says they'll offer overall guidance and strategy.
