SPRINGFIELD, IL - Toby Keith, the Budweiser Clydesdales and deep-fried cookie dough Oreos are some of the highlights in store for attendees of this year’s 150th edition of the Illinois State Fair.

Fair organizers say there are exciting new features and many old-standbys at the ten-day event that begins August 8.

Admission prices are the same, adults will pay $7 and children are $3.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are on display daily, with a parade scheduled everyday at 4 pm.

The music lineup includes evening performances by Toby Keith, Kip Moore, Ke$ha, John Mayer and Journey.

This year’s fried food novelty is Oreo cookies covered in cookie dough, battered and then deep-fried.

Attendees are encouraged to record videos reciting the Gettysburg Address to help celebrate the fair's 150th anniversary.

The fair runs through August 18.
