A former president is heading to Kentucky to campaign for a Democratic U.S. Senate candidate.
President Bill Clinton is scheduled to attend a campaign for Alison Lundergan Grimes in Louisville on Tuesday, February 25.
Grimes' senior advisor Jonathan Hurst says they are "excited he
is making our campaign a top priority." The campaign touts in a release
that this is "the first stop of the 2014 cycle".
The event was announced a day after the latest Bluesgrass Poll
shows Grims has a 46% to 42% margin over incumbent Mitch McConnell.
The time and exact location of the event have not been released.
