Covington Officer Hurt, Man Arrested in Shooting

COVINGTON, KY - Authorities have found a 26-year-old man who was the subject of a 10-hour manhunt in northern Kentucky after a police officer was shot.

Cincinnati police told The Kentucky Enquirer that Pharo Wilson was arrested Friday afternoon at the Fireside Motel in Cincinnati.

Wilson is charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of felony assault.

Police were searching for Jones following a shooting Friday morning in Covington. Police say K-9 officer Specialist Mark Richardson was shot in the foot after responding to a robbery report.

Covington Police Chief Spike Jones says Richardson is expected to make a full recovery.
