Grants Help KY Schools Visit State Parks

Schools from Greenup County to Ballard County are getting to take students on trips to Kentucky State Parks with help from transportation grants from the Kentucky State Parks Foundation.

The second round of grants went to 10 schools. They are Viper Elementary in Perry County, Millcreek Elementary in Fayette County, Southwest Calloway Elementary, McKell Middle School in Greenup County, Clark County, Cumberland County, Millbrooke Elementary in Christian County, South Green Elementary in Glasgow, Ballard County Elementary and Owsley County High School.

Applications for the 2015-16 school year will be available in mid-April, with applications due by Aug. 1. For more information about the program, visit the link below.
