HENDERSON, KY - Century Aluminum chief executive Mike Bless says he's willing to try to work out a deal to keep a western Kentucky aluminum smelter open.

Legislation to lower the smelter's electric bills was pulled from the House floor Thursday with the sponsor saying too much misinformation surrounded the issue.
