A shrimp boat captain got a surprise when he found a prosthetic leg while fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, but its unique designs helped to track down the owner.

Fisherman Matt Willingham went to the local media and contacted the manufacturer about finding a leg that was painted with the University of Kentucky logo and the team's wildcat mascot.

Fred Robinson, a former University of Kentucky running back in the 1980s, told WKYT-TV in Lexington (http://bit.ly/LHUOHZ ) he was shocked when he found out someone found his personalized $30,000 prosthetic leg.

Robinson, who now lives in Florida, said he lost the prosthetic while swimming over the Memorial Day weekend. He said he is planning to thank the fisherman for recovering the prosthetic.
