Police Send Skeletal Remains for Examination
HICKMAN, KY - Police in western Kentucky have sent what they believe to be the skeletal remains of a man to Louisville for examination.
Fulton Police Chief Terry Powell told The Paducah Sun that officers found the remains after a neighbor found the body inside a home in far western Kentucky on Tuesday.
An initial investigation led police to believe the skeleton was of a male.
Powell said Fulton police along with the Kentucky State Police crime response unit and Fulton County coroner, opened an investigation.
The remains were sent to the Kentucky State Police crime lab for testing to determine the cause of death.
