Saturday is Day to Sweep the Riverbanks

LOUISVILLE, KY - Thousands of volunteers will be combing riverbanks in Kentucky, Illinois and elsewhere Saturday during the annual Ohio River Sweep.
    
The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission in Cincinnati says there's at least one designated cleanup area for each county bordering the Ohio river, plus additional sites along tributaries. The Ohio River stretches from Pittsburgh to Cairo, IL, and includes 1,962 miles of shoreline and many tributaries.
