A state task force designed to address bullying in schools will hold its first meeting this week.
Gov. Steve Beshear announced the creation of the Kentucky Youth Bullying Prevention Task Force in September.
Beshear says he expects the group to find solutions to make schools safer and free of bullying and harassment. The task force will analyze existing laws and policies as well as interview school professionals, victims and other experts. They will submit a list of recommendations in a report by Nov. 15, 2015.
The first meeting is Wednesday in the Kentucky State Office Building in Frankfort.
