Volunteers to Assist Storm-Damaged Counties

LOUISVILLE, KY - Nine Kentucky counties hit earlier this year by tornadoes and storms will have volunteers come in next month to help with repairs and provide clothing and food.
Impact Kentucky says it already has around 270 people registered to help with the project. Events will take place Aug. 25 in Grant, Johnson, Lawrence, Magoffin, Martin, Menifee, Morgan, Pendleton and Wolfe counties.
Impact Kentucky is sponsored by the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Communications and local United Methodist churches.
