One child was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night in Henry County, TN.

The accident happened around 6:30 on Highway 79 southwest of Paris.

KYTN said that according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 11-year-old Abigale Lucero was killed, and 12-year-old Sheyenne Glisson was seriously injured. Glisson was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

The vehicle they were riding in, driven by 35-year-old Ricky Glisson, was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Kevin Hilt.

The report said that the children were ejected and the vehicle came to rest on top of them.

Neither driver was reportedly injured in the crash.
