Discovery Park of America had its one millionth visitor walk through the door at 11:12 am Saturday.   

Discovery Park of America's CEO, Jim Rippy congratulated Ivy Rogers and her son, Woods, who was the one-millionth  'click' as Rippy counted down for days to determine the special guest.  Woods is the son of Bo and Ivy Rogers of Dyersburg.

The family receivcd with a gift package that included lifetime memberships for the three of them, $200 cash, an overnight stay including dinner at Bluebank Resort on Reelfoot Lake, dinner for two from Sassafraz Restaurant in Union City, a bottle of wine from White Squirrel Winery, tee-shirts and fudge from the Discovery Park Gift Shop and Cafe and a commemorative 2017 Christmas ornament to mark the momentous occasion. 

Staff and guests helped celebrate with music, confetti and cake.
