Dinosaurs are returning to West Tennessee.

The Union City Daily Messenger reports that The Discovery Park of America, which is set to open Nov. 1 in Union City, will feature four "islands" of stationary dinosaurs from the Triceratops to the well-known Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The educational facility will also feature 10 indoor galleries that explore topics from natural and regional history to science and technology.

The park cost about $100 million to build and was largely funded by Union City native Robert Kirkland through the Robert E. and Jenny D. Kirkland Foundation.
