MARTIN, TN - Jordan Gunn, a senior geosciences major from Dyersburg, TN is the new 2013 Miss University of Tennessee at Martin. Gunn will compete in June at the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant in Jackson.

Gunn was named first runner-up at the combined Miss UT Martin/Miss Tennessee Soybean Festival Pageant held January 26 in the university’s Student Life Center. She assumes the title, as crown-holder Kristen Lackey, of Savannah, is unable to fulfill the requirements for representing the university as Miss UT Martin.

The 21-year-old Gunn is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. Gunn’s platform is Raising Awareness About the Bully, which supports Project Anti-Bully. Vocal performance is her talent.

Also headed to the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant is Madison Hardy, of Nashville, who won the 2013 Miss Tennessee Soybean Festival title at the combined pageant.
