According to KYTN, officers were called to North Dobbins Street, where witnesses reported two to three shots had been fired.
At the scene, officers located 32-year-old Stephon Macklin, of Columbus, who had gunshot wounds to his neck and chest.
Macklin was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City for treatment of injuries.
