The man wanted for questioning in the death of his sister in Lyon County has been arrested.

Kentucky State Police say the Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested 66-year-old Arthur A. Long of Chicago about 12:30 am Monday near Cookeville in Putnam County, in north Central Tennessee.

Authorities had been on the lookout for Long since Thursday, when 68-year-old Nancy Minor of Eddyville was found unresponsive in her home, and her car was missing. Minor died of multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Lyon County Coroner, and authorities began a homicide investigation immediately.

State Police say Long was still driving his sister's car when he was stopped. He is being held on local charges in Tennessee, but will be extradited back to Kentucky on a warrant for theft by unlawful taking of an automobile under $10,000. He is also wanted for questioning in the homicide investigation.
