September "between the rivers" reunions have been planned in Tennessee and Kentucky for its former residents.

Former residents from the Stewart County, Tennessee portion of the area now known as Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area, will gather for their annual homecoming on Sunday, September 6, at the Bison Range Picnic Area. The picnic area is located south of The Homeplace on Woodlands Trace National Scenic Byway in Land Between The Lakes.

A Between the Rivers Homecoming is also planned for Lyon County, KY,  on September 19. It is held annually at Star Camp Picnic Area.

The yearly reunions provide a chance for former Between the Rivers residents to celebrate and reminisce. All former residents, relatives, and friends are invited. Those attending should bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items they wish. Restrooms, picnic tables, and grills are provided.
